Unsung Heroes

No one better represents the future of design than our Student Members, however, no one best influences the future than teachers, colleagues and mentors. There are influential individuals throughout our lives, and when you look back at your collegiate experience from a professional stand point, who will stand out in your mind? What professors or mentors have already influenced your work, education and perhaps your professional career?

How to Enter:

• At IIDA we would love to know who is the most influential person in your collegiate life. Write about the most influential professor, mentor, and/or IIDA Chapter Member in an essay (1000 words or less). Go ahead, brag!
  
• Essays will be narrowed down to the top three. The finalists’ essays will be posted on this blog, and you will have the chance to vote.
• Winners (both the nominator and nominee) will receive free IIDA Membership for one year.
  

Timeline and Contact Information:

• Essays are due by Wednesday, March 19th and finalists will be posted Friday, March 21st. The grand prize winner will be announced Wednesday, March 26th. Email essays to the attention of Christa Koskosky, student marketing coordinator, at ckoskosky@iida.org. Please include your name and IIDA Membership number, although the competition is open to non-IIDA members. When sending your email please use “Unsung Heroes” as the subject line.
