Re-inventing the Brick

Ever wish you could substitute brick for something else? Well, what about a colorful, pink blob? Not convinced? Look at the pictures below of Blobwall Pavillion, a project created for SCI-Arc by Greg Lynn Form, Machineous and Panelite.

The blobs were created as an alternative to the traditional brick. Would you want your home constructed out of these?
