We received an entry from a student, Kim, who was studying abroad in Germany and sent in the Berlin Hauptbahnhof-Lehrter Banhof train station as a best design.
The design is not only beautiful but extremely functional as the upper level is home to six tracks and the lower has eight tracks. In 2006, it was estimated that 1,800 trains went in and out in one day and 350,000 passengers! The trains reach as far as Russia and Kazakhstan.
Thank you Kim! If you have a best and worst hometown design, please contact me by clicking here or feel free to leave a comment below!
