Barbie is celebrating her 50th birthday by opening up a new $44 million store in Shanghai, and she is getting a tattoo to boot!
The new store in Shanghai is a little girl’s fantasy. There is a pink tunnel, which is an escalator that plays a track of little girls giggling as you ride it. You can relax in the Barbie Spa and Salon. The store will also offer a line of Sex and the City clothes, just in case Barbie is feeling extra sassy! Why should Barbie have all the fun? Vera Wang has designed an adult sized, $10,000 dress for purchase at Shanghai’s House of Barbie!
If your Barbie happens to be a bit more rebellious, look for the new tattoo Barbie who comes complete with several tattoo stickers and tattoo gun. And, no, we are not joking about this. Don’t be jealous of Barbie, you or your child can get in on the fun with washable tattoos that come with the new tattoo Barbie.
