Columbia, MO Earth Day
There are several moments throughout the year when I miss my alma mater, the University of Missouri-Columbia, and oddly enough Earth Day marks one of those days. Mizzou and the City of Columbia put on a great day of activities, and downtown business owners support the event with great deals…it really felt like, as an out of town undergrad, like I was part of the community.
Columbia even had its own coalition devoted to making sure Earth Day was memorable, informative and fun!
